Zinc recovery

FLUREC stands for "fly ash recycling". With this process, pure zinc can be obtained from the ash from waste incineration.

Process in the field of fly ash

Large amounts of heavy metals end up in our waste every day. During combustion they remain as residues in the slag and the exhaust gas purification. So in the fly ash, which consists of combustion smoke and the finest dust. The FLUREC process (zinc recovery) is a revolutionary technology for recovering lead, cadmium, copper, silver and pure zinc from the ash for direct marketing.

First, the heavy metals are removed from the ash using the FLUWA process (fly-ash washing). Then, using the FLUREC process, the individual metals are separated and sold again as commercial products.

The advantages are obvious: on the one hand, operating costs can be reduced due to fewer residues and, on the other hand, the zinc obtained can be resold.
